Vijaya Dashami Dussehra festival is the glorious festival of assimilating the heritage of Indian Sanatan Hindu culture

Vijaya Dashami Dussehra festival is the glorious festival of assimilating the heritage of Indian Sanatan Hindu culture

Indian spiritual culture holds special importance all over the world for its Teej festival.

Dussehra is not only a festival but is also considered a proud symbol of the heritage of eternal truth and values of Sanatan Hindu Dharma.

Many mythological, religious beliefs and stories are also associated with this festival of Vijaya Dashami, Dussehra.

This festival is celebrated every year on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month as Dussehra / Vijayadashami, which holds a prominent place in the major festivals of Hindu religion.

It is a festival of bravery. Dussehra is celebrated in the form of victory celebration of the victory of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram in the form of victory of Dharma over unrighteousness, because on this day Lord Shri Ram killed the ungodly Lankapati King Ravana.

This festival is the tenth day of Shardiya Navratri worship, celebrated for the worship of Goddess Jagadamba Devi Durga, in which all the fasting people break the fast. That is, they complete their sadhana austerity.

This festival is celebrated on the tenth day of the month of Ashwin with great enthusiasm and full religious devotion in every corner of the country.

Because this festival is very important in the form of courage, bravery, sadhna, worship of power and worship of Dharma Raksha Shastra. It is a symbol of immense joy, gaiety and victory.

Traditionally, ten heads of Ravana in Dussehra are considered to be indicative of evils i.e. ten sins.

There is lust, anger, greed, attachment, violence, laziness, falsehood, ego, item and theft.

In fact, we want salvation in some form or the other from all these evils and character sins. In this way, every year we burn the effigy of Ravana by making it the biggest with ten heads in the hope that with this effigy all our evils will also be absorbed in the fire and we may win the victory of religion over them.

On the day of Vijaya Dashami, Lord Rama killed the demon Ravana and freed Mother Sita from her captivity. According to mythological beliefs, the Ram-Ravan war took place during Navratri. Ravana died during the period of Ashtami-Navmi and his cremation took place on the tenth day. Whose festival started being celebrated on the day of Dashami.

Therefore, for this reason this festival is also known as Vijayadashami. On the day of Dussehra, effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnath are also burnt at places.

According to the Shakti Granth Devi Bhagwat, on this day Mother Durga defeated the demon Mahishasur and liberated the deities from their oppression atrocities. It is said that before killing Ravana, Lord Shri Ram worshiped Mother Durga by invoking the supreme power.

Then Mother Durga, pleased with his worship, gave him the boon of victory. That is why the devotees worshiping Shakti worship Maa Durga in Dussehra. Some people fast and fast. Devotees who worship by establishing the idol of Durga do idol-immersion program with music and music.

By offering Havan Yagya, Maha Prasadi Bhog distribution is organized, by doing this the sadhna of Mother Shakti is fully fruitful.

Gentle seekers always protect the devotees from demonic powers, because since time immemorial there are two types of human community in this world - one with divine nature and the other with demonic tendencies.

Those with demonic tendencies are worshipers of negative evil forces, in such wicked human beings there is neither outer inner purification, nor best conduct nor truthful speech. In this type of ungodly society, by doing adultery, corrupt practices keep spreading evils.

Undoubtedly, the prestige of any nation is determined by the conduct of its people. In our texts, the concept of a superior nation has been conceived from the Arya Vidhan.

According to the Indian Sanatan culture, Arya means the conduct of the best men. The characteristic of Arya Vidhan is the human society with the characteristics of equality, social justice, goodwill etc.

Therefore, Lord Shri Ram established the Arya Vidhan there by giving the kingdom to Vibhishana after the victory of Lanka, giving the kingdom of Kishkindha to Sugriva after the slaughter of Bali.

Similarly, when Arjuna bowed down before the war to the injustice and corruption of the unrighteous, then Anand Kand Lord Shri Krishna has termed it as non-Aryan conduct.

Therefore, from a spiritual point of view, we must conquer our ten senses to eliminate the bad qualities within us. According to Shri Gita Ji, "Indriyani Dashaikam Cha".

In this way we can eliminate the evil and tamo guna within us.

In conclusion, this Vijaya Dashami Dussehra festival is a glorious festival to assimilate the heritage of Indian Sanatan Hindu culture.

Let us all take a pledge together that this

On Vijay Dashami festival, we will awaken our spiritual powers through yoga practice. So that by destroying the demonic powers, we can also destroy the vices within us.
